Motorcycle Crash Snarls Traffic On Salem Church Road, 40, One To Hospital

Bear – Yesterday, November 21, 2017, at approximately 2:20 pm, New Castle County Paramedics, Christiana Fire Company and Delaware State Police helicopter were dispatched to the intersection of Salem Church Road and Pulaski Highway for a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcyclist, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne Russell.

Russell said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found the patient, a 48-year-old male, operator of the motorcycle, in care of emergency medical technicians from Christiana Fire Company. The patient suffered injuries to his leg. The patient was transported via Delaware State Police helicopter to Christiana Hospital. The patient was in serious condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
