Newark Man Charged With Second Burglary On Stafford Avenue

Newark – On November 15, 2017 officers from Newark Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division arrested Jesse Siemienski, 36, of Newark for a residential burglary that occurred in the 400 block of Stafford Avenue, according to Lt. Fred Nelson.

Nelson said on November 12, 2017 the victim, a 20-year-old male, reported that an unknown suspect entered his residence by unknown means and removed a number of gaming items, a knife, cash, and other miscellaneous property.

After developing Siemienski as a person of interest, detectives found that he sold a number of the stolen gaming items to Game Stop, located at 326 Suburban Drive, according to Nelson. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Siemienski and arrested him without incident at his residence. Siemienski was video arraigned in front of Justice of the Peace Court 2 and given $8,000 secured bond.

Siemienski is charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, Theft $1500 or Greater and Selling Stolen Property Under $1500

In September Siemienski was charged with burglarizing another home on Stafford Avenue.
