Wilmington – Last evening, at approximately 6:35 pm, New Castle County Paramedics and personnel from the Mill Creek Fire Company were dispatched to the 2600 block of East Riding Drive for a motor vehicle
crash, involving a rollover, according to Paramedic Senior Corporal David McKinney, Jr.
McKinney said arriving County Paramedics found one vehicle that had rolled over and struck a bridge. The sole occupant of the vehicle, who was the operator, was found in the care of Emergency Medical Technicians from the Mill Creek Fire Company. The patient, a 42-year-old male, was self-extricated from the wreckage prior to fire department personnel arriving on scene. He was treated for a possible hand injury and body wide abrasions and lacerations.
He was transported to the Emergency Department at Christiana Hospital on board an ambulance from the Mill Creek Fire Company with a New Castle County Paramedic accompanying. The patient was stable at the time of transport. The New Castle County Police were on scene and are investigating the crash.

Wilmington – Rescue crews from the Mill Creek Fire Company have responded to the 2600 block of East Riding Drive for reports of a vehicle crash involving a rollover.
Arriving crews have cancelled Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation) but have requested New Castle County Paramedics to continue in to the scene.
Update: Vehicle rolled multiple times after traveling through the neighborhood at a high rate of speed according to reports from the scene. The patient has been transported to the Trauma center with undetermined injuries.
