Police: Man Held On $133,700 After Running From Cops, Drugs Found

Dover – On Thursday, November 16th, the Dover Police Department wrapped up a drug investigation with the arrest of 48-year-old Brian Hunter, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer. Hoffman said Hunter was stopped by officers at 1:04 pm in the area of East Division Street at North DuPont Highway for a traffic violations, when he fled on foot. Hunter was taken into custody a short time later and found to be in possession of 97 grams of cocaine, 61 bags of heroin, 1.5 grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, according to Hoffman.

Officers later conducted a search warrant at his residence in M&S Trailer park in the 1500 Block of N. Little Creek Road. As a result of the search, officers located $11,300 in alleged drug proceeds, according to Hoffman.

Brian Hunter was committed to JTVCC in default of $132,700 cash bond on charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin, Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia and  Resisting Arrest
