Georgetown – Police Department Detectives have identified and arrested a woman in connection with robberies that occurred on November 1, 2017, according to Georgetown police.
Officials said the incident occurred on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at approximately 1:20 p.m. when the suspect approached the victim, who was sitting in her vehicle which was parked in a private parking lot south of East Market St. between South Race St. and Railroad Avenue. The victim’s door was then pulled open by the suspect who placed a gun to the victim’s head, said police. The suspect then demanded that the victim hand over her belongings before reaching inside the vehicle and grabbed the victims purse, according to authorities. After grabbing the victims purse, the suspect began to strike the victim with a gun, numerous times to the back of the victim’s head, said police. The suspect then fled on foot.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., Millsboro Police were dispatched to the parking lot of BJ’s Wholesale Club for a robbery complaint. Millsboro Police contacted the victim who reported they were sitting in their vehicle when approached by a female at their driver’s side door. The female suspect then reached into the victim’s vehicle and grabbed the victim’s purse, according to police. The victim attempted to hold her purse but the suspect gained control and then fled in a dark color SUV.
Georgetown Detectives were able to identify An’Deshia B. Satchell, 23, of Milton, Delaware as the suspect in both robberies. On November 3, 2017, Satchell was taken into custody in Milton by Georgetown Detectives without incident.
Satchell was charged by Georgetown Police with Robbery First Degree, Assault Second Degree, Aggravated Menacing, and Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony. Additionally, Satchell was charged by Millsboro Police with Robbery Second Degree. Satchell was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court #2 and committed to Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution in lieu of a total $117,000 Secured Bail.

Georgetown – Georgetown Police are attempting to identify a suspect involved in a robbery which occurred on November 1, 2017, according to police.
Officials said on November 1, 2017 at approximately 1:20 p.m., the victim was sitting in her vehicle which was parked in a private parking lot south of East Market St. between South Race St. and Railroad Avenue.

Officials said further investigation revealed video surveillance footage of the suspect operating a dark in color GMC Yukon. Convenience store video was also collected which provided images of the suspect. The suspect was wearing a gray in color hooded sweatshirt with “Cape Vikings” lettered on the front and blue sweatpants. The suspect also dropped their keys during the robbery which were reportedly attached to an Eagles lanyard.
