Police Update: Elkton Bank Robbed At Gunpoint

Elkton, Md. – At approximately 1:24 pm on November 15, 2017, two suspects – both identified as black male suspects had wearing disguises entered the Columbia Bank in the 900 block of East Pulaski Highway and committed an armed bank robbery, according to Elkton Police Lt. Joseph Zurolo.

Zurolo said the suspects were both armed with what appeared to be semi-automatic handguns. The suspects arrived and subsequently fled the area in a 4 door gold colored vehicle. More information will be disseminated as the investigation unfolds.

Elkton, Md. – At approximately 1:40 pm two black males, armed with handguns, robbed the Columbia Bank located at 975 E Pulaski Highway (Route 40), in Elkton.

Shortly after the robbery Cecil County dispatch alerted Delaware State Police that suspects may be headed to Delaware.
