Troopers Charge Woman With Armed Robbery, Held On $20K

Wilmington – Delaware State Police have arrested Jessica L. Gleen, 30, of Wilmington for her alleged involvement in an armed robbery which occurred on Monday, October 23, 2017, at the BP gas station located at 3507 Miller Rd., Wilmington, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Michael Austin.

Austin said during the incident Gleen confronted the clerk at the sales counter, displayed a black handgun, and demanded money from the register before fleeing.

Through various investigative measures detectives were able to positively identify Gleen, and obtained warrants for her arrest, said Austin. On Tuesday, November 14, 2017 members of the State Fugitive Task Force located Gleen, and took her into custody without incident.

Gleen was transported to Delaware State Police Troop 2 where she was arrested and charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. Gleen was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court #2, before being committed to the Dolores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution in lieu of $20,000.00 secured bond.
