Update: Khalid Mack has been charged with the following offenses:
RECKLESS ENDANGERING FIRST DEGREE;
TWO COUNTS OF POSSESSION OF A FIREARM DURING THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY;
ASSAULT FIRST DEGREE.
The female victim had been operating a motor vehicle at the time of the incident. MACK did shoot at the vehicle as it was pulling away from the block, according to police. Officials said the projectile struck the rear window of her vehicle, continued through the driver’s side head rest then struck the victim in the back of her neck. The female victim sustained a graze wound.
Mack was positively identified by the female victim and a male subject, who was seated in the front passenger seat of her vehicle at the time of the incident, according to police.

On Monday, November 13, 2017, at approximately 1:13 pm, Wilmington Police were summoned to the 700 block of Townsend Place with regard to a shooting, according to authorities.
Officials said that upon the officers arrival, they located a 24-year old female victim at D and S. Heald Street suffering from a graze wound to the back of her head as she was operating a motor vehicle.
The female victim was treated on scene by St. Francis EMS, then transported to St. Francis Hospital where she received further treatment then was released.
The suspect has been identified as Khalid Mack, 24, of Wilmington. Mack is in police custody and charges are pending.
The female victim was an ex-girlfriend of Mack, according to authorities.
