Woman Shot In Middletown Few Details Released


Middletown – On Wednesday November 15, 2017 at approximately 11:30 pm, officers responded to the Middletown Hospital Emergency room in reference to a shooting that took place in the area of E. Lake Street, according to Middletown Police Department Chief Michael Iglio.

Iglio said the investigation revealed one adult black female suffered gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital for treatment. The victim was treated and released from Christiana hospital the next day.

In a statement released a short time ago Iglio indicated that the suspect will face Assault 1st degree and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He did not disclose any information regarding a suspect or how the woman was wounded.
