Auto Accident In Newark Sends Woman To Hospital

 

Newark – At approximately 7:10 am yesterday morning New Castle County Paramedics and Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Company were dispatched to the intersection of Glasgow Avenue and Old County Road in Marabou Meadows for a motor vehicle crash, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne Russell.

Russell said upon arrival emergency medical technicians (EMT’s) from Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Company found the patient, 20-year-old female with injuries to her leg and pelvic area. EMT’s met with New Castle County Paramedics and treatment was provided for her injuries. The patient was transported to Christiana Hospital accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics. The patient was in stable condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
