Cadillac SUV Found At The Bottom Of The Brandywine Creek, Police Investigating

Wilmington – Earlier this morning Water rescue crews responded to 13th and Church Street for reports of a car in the Brandywine Creek.

Divers conducted a primary search of the vehicle but did not find anyone inside. Crews pulled the vehicle out of the water using a tow truck, before searching the vehicle again.

Reports from the scene indicate that nobody was found in the car.

Wilmington Police are investigating how the suv got into the water.

Earlier version of this story stated that the a car was in the Brandywine River.
