County Police Release Cold Case Videos on Facebook

New Castle – Today, December 4, New Castle County Police announced the creation of a new Facebook Page for their Cold Case Squad. The detectives plan to release a series of videos highlighting some of their current cold cases. Their first video, highlighting the homicide of Peter Di Sabatino, was released on the cold case Facebook page Friday, November 3rd.

On Monday, November 12, 2012, at approximately 9:20 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the area of 211 Thorn Lane, Studio Green Apartments in Newark Delaware.
The victim was discovered lying on the sidewalk suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to the hospital, where he died shortly after arrival.
The suspects are described as two black males, one of which is wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and the other a black hooded sweatshirt.

Today’s Facebook video features the homicide case of Edwin J. Heath, Sr. Edwin “Eddie” Heath was killed on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in the Fox Run Apartment & Townhouse complex. A male subject was seen fleeing the scene on foot towards Route 40. A video of the suspect can be seen below. Police are asking citizens to view the page and share the video through social media. On Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at approximately 4:12 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Antlers Lane in the community of Fox Run Apartments & Townhouses.
Edwin was discovered lying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers arrived on the scene and provided first-aid, but Edwin was later pronounced dead at the scene. A male subject was seen fleeing the scene on foot towards Route 40 (Pulaski Highway), which is just outside the complex. The suspect was described as a black male in his mid-20’s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches and 180 pounds, thin build wearing dark pants, a light in color sweatshirt.
