Newark – At approximately 3:20 this afternoon rescue crews from the Christiana Fire Company, along with new Castle County Paramedics and Delaware State Troopers responded to Interstate 95 NB and the Christiana Road East Off-ramp for reports of a vehicle crash with ejection.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a SUV was ejected after striking a guardrail. No information on the drivers condition is available at this time.
DelDOT alerted the public that via Twitter that two lanes were closed just before 4:00 this afternoon. “I-95 NB AT RT 273 THE TWO RIGHT LANES ARE CLOSED DUE TO AN ACCIDENT.”
