Just In: Newark Bank Robbed, Massive Search Ends With Arrest In Wilmington Manor

Newark – Just before 1:00 this afternoon Newark Police responded to the TD Bank, located at 230 E Delaware Avenue, for reports of robbery.

Responding officers, acting on information provided by bank employees, canvassed the city and surrounding area, with the help of New Castle County Police, Delaware State Troopers and Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation).

Authorities quickly located what is believed to be the suspect’s vehicle on Sykes Road in Wilmington Manor.

Newark Police have confirmed that they have taken two suspect in to custody and that detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.

We have images of  the take down, the suspect and the suspect vehicle. We are withholding those images until police confirm that the suspects have been charged.
