Wilmington Manor – Just after 9:30 this morning rescue crews form the Wilmington Manor Fire Company, along with Delaware State Police, New Castle County Police and DRBA Highway Patrol responded to Bacon Avenue and North Dupont Highway (Route 13) for reports of a serious accident.
Upon arrival crews found two vehicles with heavy damage, one car having slammed into the side passenger door of the other. Crews evaluated the occupants of both vehicles. It’s believed that one patient was transported to the hospital with undetermined injuries.
Route 13 at Boulden Blvd/Bacon Ave. remained shutdown as crews worked to clear the scene.
