Newark – New Castle County Police have arrested 45-year-old James Rausch and 39-year-old Lynn Iman with stealing packages from the community of Christiana Green, according to M/Cpl. Heather Carter.
Carter said Tuesday, December 12, 2017 New Castle County Police were dispatched to the community of Christiana Green for the report of several packages taken from their residence.
A resident of the community arrived home to find James Rausch, Lynn Iman and their white Kia sedan parked in her driveway, accoring to Carter. The witness was able to capture a photo of the vehicle and the suspects. The photos were posted to Facebook by the witness and James Rausch and Lynn Iman were positively identified, said Austin.
During the course of the investigation, police located multiple empty shipping boxes along Denny Road in Bear, Del., which lead police to additional victims. Police were able to secure arrest warrants for James Rausch and Lynn Iman.
Yesterday, December 13, James Rausch of the 200 block of Adams St and Lynn Iman of the 400 block of Ivory La were stopped by Delaware City Police in the white Kia and were taken into custody without Incident.
James Rausch was charged with four counts of misdemeanor theft, two counts of criminal trespass in the third degree, five counts of misdemeanor conspiracy, and one count of misdemeanor attempted theft. He was arraigned and committed to Howard Young Correctional Institution for failing to pay $1,200.00 secured bail and issued a no contact order.
Lynn Iman was charged with four counts of misdemeanor theft, two counts of criminal trespass in the third degree, five counts of misdemeanor conspiracy and one count of misdemeanor attempted theft. She was arraigned and committed to The Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution for failing to pay $1,200.00 secured bail and issued a no contact order.
