Police: Man Skips Out On Tab, Urinates On Floor, Arrested For DUI In Newark

File

Newark – On December 22, 2017 at 7:58 p.m. officers responded to TGIFridays, 650 S. College Avenue, for a report of theft of services that had just occurred, according to Lt. Fred Nelson.

Nelson said an employee reported that the suspect, later identified as Seth Baugher, 37, of Rising Sun, incurred a $96.05 bar tab and left the business without paying. Employees also reported that prior to leaving, Baugher was observed entering the women’s bathroom and urinating on the floor, according to Nelson.

Employees provided the suspect’s vehicle description, a silver Toyota Camry with a Florida registration, and officers checking the area were able to locate the suspect vehicle on Elkton Road, said Nelson.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and took Baugher into custody without incident. Officers subsequently determined that Baugher showed signs of intoxication and arrested him for Driving Under the Influence as well, said Nelson. Baugher was charged with Theft of Services under $1500, Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication, Driving Under the Influence and a traffic violation. He was later released on $1500 unsecured bond.
