Route 40 Crash Sends One To Hospital

Bear – Just before 10:30 this morning crews from the Christiana Fire Company, along with Delaware State Police responded to the intersection of Route 40 and Scotland Drive for reports of a traffic collision.

Arriving units found two cars, both with heavy damage as a result of the collision. One person was transported to Christiana Hospital with undetermined injuries. Route 40 WB was closed for approximately 25 minutes as crews worked to clear the scene.
