Firefighters Quickly Extinguish House Fire In Holloway Terrace-Area

Holloway Terrace – Just before 1:00 this afternoon firefighters from the Holloway Terrace Fire Company, along with crews from the Good Will and Christiana Fire Companies responded to the unit block of Dallas Road for reports of a house fire.

Upon arrival crews reported smoke showing and began a primary search for patients, The search was completed with negative results.

Fire crews quickly located the fire in a bedroom and worked to extinguish the flames. As crews inside doused the flames, crews on the exterior reported smoke showing from the rear of the home as well.

Firefighters were able to bring fire under control within minutes.

Reports from the scene indicate that a space heater, in a bedroom was the source of the fire.

No injuries were reported.
