Happening Now: Rollover Crash Closes Route 13 In Townsend

Townsend – At approximately 5:25 pm rescue crews from the Townsend Fire Company, along with Delaware State Police responded to Route 13 and Pine Tree Road for reports of an accident involving a rollover.

Upon arrival crews found a white pickup truck that had rolled over onto it’s top. The patient, a male driver, self extricated from the vehicle and is being transported to Middletown Hospital for evaluation.

The roadway was closed for a brief period of time as crews arrived on scene. One lane is open in both directions as Troopers investigate the accident.
