Just In: High Speed Crash On I-95 Sends One To Hospital

Newark – At approximately 5:15 this evening Delaware State Police, along with rescue crews from Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder and New Castle County Paramedics responded to I-95 SB in the area of Route 896 for reports of a accident.

Responding crews found two vehicles, one with with heavy front end damage, both facing the wrong direction in the middle of the highway.  The two occupants of the pickup appeared to be uninjured but it’s believed that the driver of the black car was transported to the hospital with undetermined injuries.

Reports indicate that Delaware State Police received multiple calls about a vehicle matching the black cars description just before the accident. It’s not clear what the callers were calling about or if this vehicle is the same vehicle they were calling about.
