Pedestrian Struck On Route 7, Rushed To Trauma


Newark – At approximately 3:30 this afternoon, Delaware State Police, along with rescue crews from the Christiana Fire Company responded to Route 7 at Churchmans Road for reports of a pedestrian struck.

Upon arrival medical crews determined the patient would be priority one trauma alert.

Medical crews transported the patient to the nearby Christiana Hospital.

Avoid the area, there is heavy traffic as police have closed one lane of the road, as they continue to investigate.
