Newark – Just after 8:00 this evening officers with the Delaware River and Bay Authority, along with Troopers from the Delaware State Police were reportedly in pursuit of a vehicle on I-95.
Reports indicate that the vehicle exited at Route 273 and turned onto Harmony Road.
A crash with injuries was reported near Harmony Road at Route 4 minutes later. It’s believed that the pursuit ended when the vehicle crashed. It’s unclear if the suspect was injured or if another vehicle was struck.
Rescue crews from the Mill Creek Fire Company responded to the scene.
Police are reporting that a suspect is in custody.
