Lewes – The Delaware State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect who is wanted in connection with the theft of a wallet, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Melissa Jaffe.

Jaffe said the incident occurred on Monday, February 12, 2018, at approximately 4:27 p.m. when a 40-year-old victim dropped her wallet in the parking lot of the Roadsters Liquor store located at 1551 Savannah Road.

The victim returned to the Liquor store after realizing her wallet was missing and made contact with the store manager. The suspect then exited the parking lot, driving a 4-door, maroon colored Acura.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing an Eagles football shirt, black pants with a red stripe, glasses and a white earpiece.
