Talleyville-Area 7-11 Robbed At Gunpoint

Wilmington – Delaware State Police are investigating the armed robbery of a North Wilmington convenience store that took place overnight, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Michael Austin.

Austin said the incident occurred at approximately 12:54 a.m., Friday, February 16, 2018, at the 7-11 convenience store, located at 2100 Foulk Road, Wilmington.

A black male suspect entered the business and confronted an employee at the sales counter while displaying a handgun, accoring to Austin. The employee then complied with the suspect’s demand for money. Once obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash from the employee, the suspect fled on foot, northbound on Foulk Road. The 24-year-old male employee was not injured as a result of the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’7”-5’8”, average build, wearing all dark clothing, a cloth covering his face and in possession of a black handgun.
