Two Police Officers Shot And Killed Near Columbus, Ohio

Westerville, OH., At approximately 1 p.m. local time two Westerville Police officers, responding to a domestic dispute 911 hang-up call on Crosswind Drive, were killed.

Officials said that the two officers were immediately met with gunfire when they entered an apartment at the location.

One officer was killed at the scene and the other died at the hospital.

Radio traffic indicates that the gunman was down. Officials did not release information about the gunman’s condition.
