High Winds Causing Havoc In The Region, Send Us Your Photos

High winds and rain are causing havoc in Delaware and the surrounding region. Rescue crews, along with police and electric crews have been responding to reports of downed trees, wires and utility poles for several hours now.

In one incident City of Newark electric crews were dispatched to remove a utility pole that had fallen on a car in Newark.

In another incident a tree fell on a home at Greenbank Road and Duncan Road in Marshallton.

Drivers traveling on I-95 at the Tydings Bridge are being diverted off the highway due to high winds on the bridge. A tractor trailer reportedly overturned earlier in the day.

Delmarva Power is dealing with multiple reports of customers with out power across New Castle County.
