Newark – The Newark Police have arrested 21-year-old Tayvon Davis-Jacobs of Newark, for one count of Indecent Exposure in the 2nd Degree, according to Sgt. Gerald Bryda.
Bryda said after releasing the surveillance photo to the public, members of the Delaware State Police recognized the subject in the photo from prior investigations they conducted in February and March of 2018. Based upon this information, Newark Detectives were able to link Tayvon Davis-Jacobs to the below described incident at the Acme in the College Square Shopping Center, according to Byrda. Arrest warrants were obtained, and he was arrested at his residence without incident Today, March 15, 2018. Davis-Jacobs was arraigned through Justice of the Peace Court #2 and released after being issued $500 unsecured bond.

Newark – The Newark Police are investigating an indecent exposure case which occurred at the Acme in College Square Shopping Center on Sunday March 11, 2018 at approximately 9:22 p.m, according to Sgt. Gerald J. Bryda.
Byrda said a 65-year-old female employee reported that she was in the area of the freezers when a male walked up to her. She stated that the male had his pants around his thighs with his genitals exposed, according to Byrda. The employee quickly walked away, at the same time, the suspect left the store. A review of the surveillance system showed that the suspect was milling around the store for an hour prior to the exposure.
The suspect is described as a dark skinned black male, 30 to 40 years old, 5’8” to 5’10” tall, average weight, medium dreadlocks, wearing a navy-blue jacket, khaki pants and sunglasses.
