Newark – Just after 1:20 this afternoon several officers with the New Castle County Police Department, along crews from Atena Hose, Hook, and Ladder and New Castle County Paramedics responded to the unit block of Holly Lane for reports of a body lying near the Possum Hallow Trail.
Responding crews made contact with the person and determined that they were alive and in need of medial attention. It’s believed that the patient was suffering from some sort of medical condition.
Due to the location, Atena Hose, Hook, and Ladder dispatched it’s Gator to the scene but that was recalled when County Police found a path into the field.
The patient was transported to awaiting medical crews for evaluation. It’s unclear if the patient was transported to the hospital.
