Wilmington Manor – Just after 4:00 this afternoon firefighters from across New Castle County responded to the 100 block of Jay Drive for reports of shed fire threatening a structure.
As crews worked to knock the fire down they reported that the fire had extended to the home. Crews were able to knock the fire down in both structures after about 45 minute, command calling the scene under control at 4:59 pm, with crews remaining on scene.
