Milford – On 04.16.2018 the Milford Police Department’s Drug Unit executed a pair of search warrants at two different residences to complete a two month drug investigation, according to Sgt. Robert Masten.

Masten said the first of the two search warrants was executed at a residence in the 100 block of Southeast 2nd Street. That search warrant resulted in the seizure of crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, said Masten. As a result Charles E. Wise Jr., 35, of Milford was taken into custody.

Five children that were found in the residence were turned over to a family member who responded to the scene.

Wise was charged with five counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession with the Intent To Deliver a Controlled Substance, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Wise was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court #2, where bail was set at $8500.00 unsecured. He is scheduled to appear at the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas on April 19th for a preliminary hearing.

The second of the search warrants was executed at a residence in the 200 block of South Washington Street. Drug paraphernalia was seized as a result of that search warrant and Pierre Addison, 53 of Milford, was taken into custody, said Masten.

Addison was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was presented at the Justice of the Peace #2, where bail was set at $250.00 unsecured. Addison is scheduled to appear at the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas on May 1st for an arraignment.
