Rollover Crash In Front Of Christiana Hospital Injures One

Newark-Area – At approximately 8:30 last night, New Castle County Paramedics, Mill Creek and Minquas Fire Companies were dispatched to the intersection of Rolling Drive and Ogletown Stanton Road for a motor vehicle crash, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne Russell.

Russell said upon arrival New Castle County Paramedics found the patient, 46-year-old female, in care of emergency medical technicians (EMT’s) from responding fire companies. The patient suffered injuries to her shoulder and pelvis. The patient was transported to Christiana Hospital via Mill Creek Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics. The patient was in stable condition at the time of transport.

Reports from the scene indicate that the vehicle rolled over, taking out a utility pole and bringing wires down.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
