Talleyville – Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of a North Wilmington CVS pharmacy that took place early Friday morning, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Michael Austin.
Austin said the incident occurred at approximately 2:51 a.m., Friday April 20, 2018, at the CVS, located at 4020 Concord Pike, Wilmington, when two suspects, entered the business, confronted an employee as he worked behind the pharmacy counter and demanded drugs.
As soon as the employee was confronted he alerted two other employees at which time all three fled the store on foot. As they exited the front doors, they were confronted by a third suspect who was waiting outside, according to Austin. The third suspect attempted to contain the three subjects within the store however they were able escape, but not before two of them were knocked to the ground by the suspect, said Austin. All employees were able to get away without sustaining any injuries.
Further investigation determined that the two suspects who entered the business were able to obtain an undetermined quantity of drugs before exiting the store. Once outside all three suspects re-united and were last seen fleeing on foot, southbound on Concord Pike.

Suspect #3: Black male, 18-25 years of age, 6’0-6’2”, 200-230 lbs., large build, wearing a black hoodie and light colored pants. (Remained outside)
