Car Skids Off Road Into Utility Pole In Hockessin, Injuries Reported

Hockessin – Just after 8:00 this morning rescue crews from the Hockessin Fire Company, along with officers from the New Castle County Police Department responded to the 100 block of Old Wilmington Road for reports of a vehicle into a utility pole.

Upon arrival, crews found a small four door sedan that had impacted a utility pole after if left the roadway.

The initial response included a single ambulance crew. After evaluating the scene Command requested a second ambulance to the scene.

It’s believed that two patients were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
