Vehicle Struck by Gunfire on S. Governors Avenue
The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that damaged an unoccupied vehicle on Wednesday night. At approximately 10:37 PM, officers were called to the Unit Block of S. Governors Avenue for a report of multiple shots fired. When they arrived, officers located shell casings between two homes in the area and then observed that an unoccupied vehicle was struck by gunfire.

Chatham Court Burglary
The Dover Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred on Wednesday in the 100 Block of Chatham Court. Sometime between 6:00 AM and 5:35 PM, an unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the vacant home through a rear door. Once inside, they removed electronic items and a .20 gauge shotgun from the residence before fleeing. No suspect information is available at this time.
