New Castle – Rescue crews, along with police have responded to I-295 SB just south of the toll plaza for reports of an injury crash involving a motorcycle.
Upon arrival, crews have found a rider down in the roadway. Reports from the scene indicate that a car stopped short in front of a group of riders, force the rider to lay his bike down.
Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation) has landed on the highway. The patient has serious injuries and will be transport by air.
