Bear – Firefighters form the Christiana Fire Company, along with crews from around New Castle County have responded to the 5800 Block of Byron Court for reports of an apartment building on fire in the Village of Canterbury neighborhood.
Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke showing from the third floor of the building.
Both the primary and secondary searches for occupants were negative.
Crews knocked down the fire very quickly and brought the incident under control shortly thereafter.
