Crash Near Hartly Sends One To Trauma Center By Air

Hartly – Just after 5:15 this afternoon, rescue crews from the Hartly Volunteer Fire Company responded to the intersection of Lockwood Chapel Road and Pearsons Corner Road for a motor vehicle accident.

Responding crews learned that two people were injured with one possible trapped.

Upon arrival, crews found a woman in her 30’s trapped inside her vehicle. Crews were able to quickly pop the door and gain to the patient.

That patient was transported to the Christiana Hospital Trauma Center in Stanton via Trooper 4.

It’s not clear what injuries the second patient suffered were or if they were transported.

The accident occurred approximately three miles east of Hartly, Delaware.
