Update: Five People Confirmed Dead In Annapolis, Md Newspaper Shooting, Multiple Others Gravely Wounded

Breaking: A shooting has occurred at the Capital Gazette newspaper in Annapolis, Maryland. At least five people have reportedly been killed by the shooter.

One patient is being transported by Maryland State Police helicopter to Baltimore’s Shock Trauma with very serious injuries.

Multiple Maryland State Police (MSP) helicopters and mass casualty response teams have responded to the scene.

Three additional  patients have been transported by ground to area hospitals with undetermined injuries.

One suspect is reportedly in custody.

Fire Marshals and Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams have be dispatched to the area.

Update: 4:29 The unified command center has lifted the lock down for area businesses.

Update: 4:31 Command has asked for multiple city buses to transport people from the shooting scene.

Update: 4:34 Police officers and K-9 Units are clearing each floor of the newspapers building. (This update was held while the search was underway, K9 Officers have cleared the building)

Trooper 4 (Delaware State Police Aviation) is currently responding to a medical emergency in Maryland to cover for the MSP helicopters that are being used at the shooting scene.
