Newark Residents Approve $27 Million Referendum

Newark – Voters overwhelming voted in favor for the City’s proposed $27 million referendum today.

The vote marks a shift in the way some city projects will be  funded.  Residents voted to take on debt rather than to use cash to fund major projects.

QUESTION 1 For: 1792, Against: 405

QUESTION 2 For: 1471, Against: 702

QUESTION 3 For: 1815, Against: 373

QUESTION 4 For: 1556, Against: 586
