Millsboro-Delaware State Police have arrested a Millsboro man and charged him in connection with the inappropriate touching of a female juvenile this past weekend, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Melissa Jaffe.

Jaffe said on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at approximately 8:49 a.m., Troopers were dispatched to Sea Wayne Lane, for a report of a sexual assault. Upon arrival, Troopers made contact with the 9-year-old victim’s mother who reported that her daughter had been sexually assaulted by her husband’s friend, according to Jaffe.

Further investigation revealed that 32-year-old, Brandon T. Brennan had been sleeping at the residence and at approximately 5:00 a.m. he entered the bedroom in which the child was sleeping, said Jaffe. Brennan allegedly proceeded to touch the child in an inappropriate manner, according to Jaffe.

Brennan was located at the residence sleeping in his vehicle parked in the driveway.  He was taken into custody without incident.  Brennan was transported back to Troop 7 where he was charged with 3 counts of Unlawful Sexual Contact with a Person Who is <13 Years of Age (Felony).  He was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court 3 and released on $15,000.00 unsecured bond.
