The victim from the shooting in the 2600 Blk. Jessup Street was transported to Christiana Hospital and later pronounced dead as result of a gunshot wound to his chest.
He has been identified as 18-years-old Rashaad Wisher.

On Sunday night, July 8, 2018, at approximately 10:15, Wilmington Police responded to the 2600 Blk. Jessup Street regarding a shots fired complaint.
Officials said that upon arrival, officers located a male suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso.
The victim was transported to the Christiana Hospital in critical condition.
Wilmington Detectives are currently at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing. Additional information will be forthcoming.
