Middletown Police RespondTo Fight In Progress, One Arrested, Two Wanted

ACTIVE WARRANT

On Saturday evening, June 30, 2018, at approximately 7:30, officers responded to the 100 block of East Cole Blvd, Lone Manor Townhomes in reference to a disorderly group, according to, according to Middletown Police Chief Michael Iglio.

Iglio said upon arrival, officers were met by residents arguing with one another, attracting a very large crowd. The investigation revealed that a verbal altercation ensued between Tyree Hollingsworth, 21,  of Middletown, Brian Sadler, 46, of Newark, defendant Jamison, Charles Jamison, a 36, of Middletown and aa 40-year-old victim.

It was reported that during the altercation, Jamison had a knife and was swinging it at the victim, said Iglio. Hollingsworth responded by threatening to shoot Jamison. Jamison then retrieved a baseball bat and struck the victim’s vehicle causing damage. Sadler and Hollingsworth then began to throw rocks at Jamison, which in turn damaged a 2nd vehicle on the block owned by an elderly victim, who was not involved.

Defendants Sadler and Jamison were arrested at the scene. Jamison was arraigned and transported to Vaughn Correctional, in lieu of his bond. Sadler was arraigned and received unsecured bail. Hollingsworth has an active warrant for his arrest and his whereabouts are currently unknown.
