Power Restored To Over 1300 Delmarva Power Customers In Bear

Update 12:30: Delmarva Power has restored power to all but a handful of customers, according to their website.

Bear – Delmarva Power is reporting that 1,318 of its customers are without service in the area of Porter Road and Route 40. First responders were dispatched to the area just before 10:00 this morning for reports that a tree had fallen on power lines, blocking the roadway.

Delmarva and DelDOT crews are on scene working to restore power and to remove the tree from the road.

Delmarva estimates that they will have the power back on by 12:00 pm.
