Happening Now: Reports That A Pedestrian Has Been Struck By Train In Wilmington

Wilmington Police are currently assisting CSX with an investigation in regard to a railroad incident hat occurred just before 9:00 this morning.

Wilmington Police are requesting that motorists use extreme caution and/or an alternate route as there will be police activity on the 4th Street bridge between Ferris and Hawley Streets.

Officials with CSX are currently investigating the incident.

Wilmington – Crews are responding to Lancaster Ave & Greenhill Avenue for reports that a pedestrian has been struck by a train.

Wilmington Firefighters along with Wilmington Police, New Castle County Paramedics and Trooper 4 are en route to the scene.
