The Newark Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 25-year-old Liberty Wiggins, according to Sgt. Gerald Bryda.

Byrda said the Newark Police have arrest warrants for Wiggins charging him with Rape 4th Degree and Sex Offender – Unlawful Sexual Conduct Against A Child. These charges stem from an investigation into Wiggins allegedly having unlawful sexual contact with a minor known to him, according to Byrda.

Wiggins was scheduled to surrender himself at Newark Police on July 31st but failed to appear. Attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.

Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to call Newark Police at 302-366-7111 or dial 911.
