Stanton – The New Castle County Division of Police is seeking the public’s assistance with information regarding the whereabouts of 38-year-old Walter T. Lolley, of Wilmington, according to M/Cpl. Michel Eckerd.
Eckerd said Detectives from The New Castle County Division of Police, Criminal Investigations Unit, are seeking Walter T. Lolley for questioning in a double homicide that occurred on May 24th, 2018 on Kiamensi Road.
At approximately 2:00 am on May 24th, New Castle County Police were dispatched to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of the intersection of Kiamensi Rd @ Rothwell Drive. When the units arrived, they discovered two injured subjects inside of the vehicle. Both of the subjects had apparent gunshot wounds and were later pronounced deceased by New Castle County Paramedics.
Ultimately, Isabel Cooper, 34, and her boyfriend Thessalonias Berry, 34, were identified as the occupants of the vehicle. The victims had been expecting their first child together, as Isabel Cooper, at the time of her death, was seven months pregnant.
The investigation into the deaths of Isabel Cooper and Thessalonias Berry has uncovered that Walter T. Lolley was one of the last persons to have contact with both victims, said Eckerd. Walter T. Lolley should be considered armed and dangerous, added Eckerd.
Lolley is known to frequent the city of Wilmington, however, has not been seen since the murders of Isabel Cooper and Thessalonias Berry, according to Eckerd.
He is also being sought by the Wilmington Police Department in connection with a separate criminal investigation.
Lolley is described as a black male, black hair, brown eyes, 5’07”, between 130lbs and 180lbs.
