Troopers Investigating Shots Fired Into Home, Vehicle

Bridgeville– The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a shots fired complaint that occurred earlier this morning, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Melissa Jaffe.

Jaffe said the incident occurred at approximately 1:52 a.m., Saturday, September 8, 2018, when Troopers were dispatched to the area of Mill Park Drive and Coverdale Road for reports of shots being fired. Upon arrival to the area, Troopers did not locate anything suspicious. Troopers attempted to make contact with subjects at a residence in the 21000 block of Mill Park Drive with negative results. Several hours later, a 28-year-old male and a 27-year-old female responded to Troop 5 to report that their residence had been shot at.

Troopers responded back to the residence on Mill Park Drive and discovered that the house along with a vehicle had been struck by bullets. There were no reports of injury as a result of this incident.

This case continues to remain under investigation by Troop 4, Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Detective K. Archer at 302-752-3791.
