County Police Make Drug Bust In Holloway Terrace

New Castle, – Yesterday, November 27, members of the New Castle County Division of Police Mobile Enforcement Team established surveillance in the area of the Route 9 Corridor near the community of Holloway Terrace.

Officials said a green Lincoln Town Car was stopped after failing to signal properly. The driver of the car, identified as William Stewart, 31, was found to be in possession of 106 bags of heroin (0.742 grams), 1.7 grams of crack cocaine and three oxycodone pills, according to police.

William Stewart was charged with two counts of felony Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance with an Aggravating Factor, three counts of misdemeanor possession of a Controlled Substance with an Aggravating Factor, one count of misdemeanor Failure to Have Required Insurance, and Driving While Suspended and Failure to Signal.

William Stewart was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released after posting $12,002.00 secured bond.
