Dover Police Searching For Six Armed Home Invasion Suspects

The Dover Police Department is investigating a home invasion that occurred in the Capital Green neighborhood on Sunday morning. Between 1:00AM-1:20AM, six unknown black male suspects entered the front door of a residence in the 400 Block of East Water Street with handguns, demanding items, according to M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman, Public Information Officer. The suspects ransacked the residence while inside.

Two of the suspects also struck a 57-year-old male victim in the back of the head with a handgun, causing a laceration. The suspects then removed cash and a gold chain from the victim before fleeing, said Austin.

The victim was transported to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital and received treatment for his injuries
